At Yamba Angourie Surf School we provide many lesson options that can cater for all surfing abilities. Whether you are a large group, small family or an individual looking to learn, improve or excel your surfing skills, Yamba Angourie Surf School has a package that can suit your surfing needs.
3 DAY LEARN TO SURF COURSE

Day 1: Surf conditions and surf safety, about the surfboard, how to paddle and catch waves, correct surfing stance, technique for laying to standing, free surf.

Day 2: Surf check of day's conditions explaining rips, sweeps, wave height, learn to turn and direct your surfboard.

Day 3: Check surf conditions, refresh our stance and turns, learn how to catch small unbroken waves.
3 x 2 hour lessons, consecutive days
Cost: $150 per person
2 HOUR GROUP LESSON
Learn how to assess surfing conditions on the day, identifying rips, wave height, tides and wind directions. Learn the parts and functions of a surfboard board, how to paddle a board and catch waves. Correct surfing stance and technique from lying to standing. And plenty of surfing time.
Cost: $60 per person
1 HOUR PRIVATE GROUP LESSON
Have your own group? This option could be perfect for you. The lesson would be structured to where your surfing abilities are at. Your group would have the option of going through a beginners lesson plan or your group may be more advanced and need a more advanced location which they can choose from.
Cost: $60 per person
1 HOUR PRIVATE 1-ON-1 LESSON
Get the instructor's undivided attention with a 1-on-1 private lesson. It will only be yourself and the instructor. This option suits all levels from a beginner level to the advanced level surfer.
