ABOUT THE COACH
Jeremy Walters, the owner and manager, is a third generation Yamba local. Jeremy has grown up in Angourie spending his childhood surfing the beaches in the area and then as a teen graduating to the world famous local point breaks. Jeremy knows his way around the local beaches better than anyone.
SURFING BACKGROUND
Having competed around Australia Jeremy was crowned Australian Champion in 1998. From 1999 - 2000 he competed on the World Qualifying Series which took him around the world surfing and competing in such locations as Hawaii, Indonesia, France, Spain, Portugal, South Africa, Argentina, Samoa, New Zealand and Brazil.
ESTABLISHED IN 2001
In July 2001 Jeremy's oldest son, Dakoda was born and Jeremy decided he didn't want to be away from his family as much as was required on tour. This decision led Jeremy to establish his family run surf school business, Yamba - Angourie Surf School.
