At Yamba-Angourie Surf School we provide many lesson options which are shown below :

3 day learn to surf course : 3 x 2 hour lessons, consecutive days, $120

• Day 1 : Surf conditions and surf safety, about the surfboard, how to paddle and catch waves, correct surfing stance, technique for laying to standing, free surf.
• Day 2 : Surf check of days conditions explaining rips, sweeps, wave height, learn to turn and direct your surfboard.
• Day 3 : Check surf conditions, refresh our stance and turns, learn how to catch small unbroken waves.

2 hour group lesson : $50 per person

• Learn how to assess surfing conditions on the day, identifying rips, wave height, tides and wind directions. Learn parts and functions of a surfboard board, how to paddle a board and catch waves. Correct surfing stance and technique from lying to standing. And plenty of surfing time.

1 hour private group lesson : $50 per person

• Have your own group! The lesson would be structured to to where the students surfing abilities are at. Your group would have the option of going through a beginners lesson plan or your group may be more advanced and need a more advanced location which they can choose from.

1 hour private 1 on 1 lesson : $80

• Just yourself and the instructor. From beginner level to advanced level surfing options.
